Parents and carers planning on registering their children at Dargavel Primary School have been reminded of Renfrewshire Council’s admissions process.

If requests become oversubscribed at any stage, a ballot for the available spaces will be held. “Your application then becomes what we term as a ‘re-direct’. Under the re-direct process, we would then look to allocate a place at the nearest school where there are spaces available. This will be Bishopton Primary School. In this case, you would not need to submit a placing request application for Bishopton Primary, as Renfrewshire Council’s children’s services team will contact you regarding your next steps.
