The Sligo man has been entertainer Daniel's manager since 2017.
Daniel said "I’d like to ask for prayers for my manager Kieran Cavanagh. He has been diagnosed with brain cancer and will start treatment soon.Daniel has spoken in the past of his close personal friendship with Kieran who took over from his previous manager Sean Reilly who was Daniel's manager for 30 years.
Fans of the singing star have responded in huge numbers after Daniel posted the plea on his own personal Facebook page.
