Astronauts! The watch, like so many Omega watches , is inspired by space exploration – specifically the space suits of space men and women. So, naturally, the dial had to be white. It observes the 55th anniversary of the ALASKA I, a white dial prototype crafted as part of a secret NASA project to design the perfect space watch. So... Astronauts again! It flips the design of the original Speedmaster, which launched way back in 1957.
