It was inspired by a short story written by Emma Braslavsky. She started a story with the exact same premise, that there’s a new generation of robots meant to be the perfect life and love partner.
And a language is a bit like programming. I found when working on set, it was like switching a certain part of my brain and trying to stay in there all day.
