“It was pretty pro forma. I asked if it was performance-based and they sort of hemmed and hawed, then said no," Ratto said."When I heard Damon was getting it too, it seemed more obvious that it was financial. I'm operating on the assumption that it was an entirely financial decision. Whatever other reasons, I haven't heard about or aren't known.”, which reported that the move was made "to achieve profitability because the market is down as a whole.
