Dallas police are still looking for the men who shot and carjacked an officer overnight.
Fugitive task force officers shot and killed a murder suspect in Dallas Monday morning, the U.S. Marshals Service said.Thankfully, he's already been released and is home recovering. Chief Garcia did not disclose the officer’s name, but did say he is a veteran of the police department.
Investigators found numerous shell casings from the shootout while processing the scene."We are still searching for the car, that original car that drove up behind our officers, and those violent suspects," Garcia said. "We believe at least one, if not more, of those suspects is armed."Police have not released any additional details involving this investigation.Trending Now
