Roderick Green was booked into the Dallas County jail on charges of assault on a public servant and attempting to take a peace officer’s weapon.A man is accused of tackling a police officer Friday night in Uptown Dallas and causing her gun to fire after fleeing the scene of an accident and trying to break into homes.
Officers attempted to take the man into custody, police said, but he resisted and ran away. Officers used a Taser against the man, which police said was “ineffective.”
