New York-based Acadia Realty Trust has disclosed some of its plans for construction along Henderson Avenue in East Dallas.
Acadia Realty Trust is planning to construct a series of new buildings along Henderson Avenue in East Dallas.Developers planning a major makeover of East Dallas’ Henderson Avenue corridor have disclosed some of their plans for the project.has been the largest owner along the thoroughfare running east of North Central Expressway. It paid $85.4 million for acres of restaurant, retail and commercial buildings plus vacant land along Henderson.
Acadia Realty Trust is planning to construct a series of retail and office buildings along Henderson Avenue in East Dallas.In 2018, theto allow construction of retail, offices and restaurants. But nothing has happened since then. Acadia Realty Trust plans to start construction this summer on the first buildings it plans on Henderson, according tofiled with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The company included renderings on a marketing website for the properties.
The renderings show a series of new buildings plus facelifts for some existing properties. Dallas architect GFF designed the projects. Acadia Realty owns urban retail and commercial properties in several U.S. markets including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Boston.Knox Street business district just across U.S. Highway 75Acadia Realty Trust plans a facelift for some of the existing buidlings along Henderson Avenue in East Dallas.
