The Dallas Cowboys and star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb have agreed to a multi-year deal, the team announced Monday. It is a four-year, $136 million contract, according to ESPN and NFL Network. The deal makes Lamb, a three-time Pro Bowler, the second highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. The agreement includes $100 million in guaranteed money. Lamb held out for all of training camp as well as the Cowboys’ three preseason games in hopes of securing a new contract.
Dallas owner and president Jerry Jones said earlier in August he felt “no urgency” to get a deal done with Lamb, prompting the receiver to respond on X with an “lol.” Lamb has been incredibly productive for the Cowboys, appearing in every single game over the last four years. In 2023, he posted career bests with 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns — the former two also being team records. In the Dallas’s lone postseason game last season, he caught nine passes for 110 yards.
