Salford dad flew to Australia and took his own life after both parents died just weeks apart
A grieving dad took his own life after both of his parents died just three months apart, an inquest heard.

This really did affect his mental health. As soon as he could, he arranged to go out there. On the 25th he managed to fly out to Australia.”
The former social worker, of Montonfields Road, Eccles, twice previously tried to take his own life. The first was in September 2021, shortly after his mother died. The second, two months later, was due to worries over his Personal Independence Payment application, the inquest heard.
