Will Creep 3 ever happen?
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Blumhouse's Creep was a small but successful found-footage horror movie, and its sequel, Creep 2, left the door open for Creep 3. Both Creep movies were directed by Patrick Brice — the first was his directorial debut — and co-written by Brice and Mark Duplass. Both men starred in the first Creep, which premiered in 2014 at the South by Southwest festival.
The sequel finds Josef/Bill now calling himself Aaron and questioning his murderous ways. He places another ad for a videographer, this time to film a documentary about him, which leads him to meet YouTuber Sara . Aaron appears suicidal, but this is all a ruse and he reveals to Sara that they'll both be taking their own lives at the end of the documentary. He stabs her and throws her into an open grave but Sara is able to climb out and incapacitate Aaron by hitting him with a shovel.
Creep 3 Cast Without a confirmed complete script, it makes sense that there have been no Creep 3 casting announcements. However, Duplass' Josef/Bill/Aaron has been in both Creep movies, and there's every chance he survived Creep 2 and will deliver another great horror performance in the third movie. Meanwhile, unlike the original Aaron, Sara was able to escape, so there's a strong chance that Akhavan would return for Creep 3 as well.
Creep 3 Story Details Story is clearly very important to both Brice and Duplass, as Duplass even said that he didn't think Creep 2 was "as good as it could have been". However, both Creep movies have followed the formula of Duplass' killer character posting an online ad and luring a videographer to his cabin, so there's every chance this happens again.
There's also the possibility that Aaron, who knows Sara is still alive, stalks her in the name of finishing the job. But whether Creep 3 sticks to the series' established premise or goes in a different direction, with Brice and Duplass writing the script, it'll no doubt be fantastic.
