Covid cases have fallen across England and Wales for the second week in a row, suggesting the rise in cases seen in early autumn are on their way out.

Chesterfield in Derbyshire had the next highest rate at 49.6 per 100,000 people. Scarborough was next with 45.1 cases per 100,000, followed by Isle of Wight , Fylde , Torbay , and Newcastle-under-Lyme .
