Police 'strongly believe' Marian Gheorghe injured his former partner and then himself. Vicala Gheorghe was 49 years old and a mother of six.
A man and a woman found dead at a house in Coventry have been named - with police confirming they were former partners. Marian and Vicala Gheorghe were found at an address on Caludon Road shortly after 5.30am on Friday morning. In a statement, West Midlands Police said: 'We're continuing our enquiries into exactly what happened but at this stage we strongly believe Marian injured Vicala and then himself.' Vicala Gheorghe was 49 years old and a mother of six.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman told Sky News: 'The man, who was in a critical condition, was receiving basic life support from police colleagues before ambulance staff took over and immediately began administering advanced life support. Sadly, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
