Indi Gregory's parents say they have been given a 'real chance' by the Italian hospital.
A High Court judge is set to make a ruling on whether a critically-ill baby at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre can be transferred to Italy for treatment. A legal battle has been ongoing since September between the parents of eight-month old Indi Gregory and the Nottingham University Hospitals Trust , which runs the QMC.
The baby's parents, Dean Gregory and Claire Staniforth, of Ilkeston, argued against this but recently lost a High Court appeal against NUH. That meant the trust would start winding down Indi's critical care before introducing a "compassionate care plan.
