Five Ways Automation Can Help Businesses And Society

These new ideas and inventions usually begin at a very high cost, but the more adoption, the better the products become: resulting in an increase of efficiency and a reduction in cost/prices. They usually also become more intuitive and user-friendly. Consider restaurant chains that are now using robotics, software and touchscreens to make delicious specialty beverages, personal pizzas and even salads with a perfect finished product every time.

For all the millions of people that lost their jobs due to the ongoing pandemic, there is also a global labor shortage. It seems to be a tale of two extremes: companies that have the necessary staff, but no product or services to offer, and then companies that have the product or service to offer are missing the necessary staff. This is one of the main reasons companies are looking toward automation to massively help and simplify these problems.

Below are five key reasons why automation can be positive not only for businesses but also for our personal lives:projects at least 20 million new jobs will be created in the next 10 years via automation. Jobs provide remuneration, which ultimately can help us not only survive but live better. This phenomenon is familiar — it occurred when the internet emerged.

Automation was originally created as a profit model for business enterprises, but fortunately, many of these innovations can also be also applied to help prosper people’s lives and communities. This in turn can impact the efficiency, productivity, safety and happiness of individuals and communities. I’m not sure that any of us want to or will ever really live in a world where we fear we could actually be replaced or dominated by robots.
