Campaigners say bringing the city's buses back under public control will boost the economy.
Campaigners have said Glasgow's economy's lags behind European rivals because of problems with its transport network.
A report by the Centre for Cities think tank, in partnership with the Get Glasgow Moving campaign, hasIt says a franchise model across Strathclyde would see a public transport body like SPT take over and use the most popular routes to help pay for those used by fewer passengers.
