Bernie leaves herself at risk of not being around for her son's final months
After emotional scenes finding out her son has only six to twelve months left to live, Bernie Winter leaves herself at risk of not being around in next week's Coronation Street. As Paul Foreman faced a lengthy wait for his Personal Independence Payment , Bernie took matters into her own hands when she met with Big Garth.

As Amy, Summer, Evelyn and Cassie Plummer set off, Mason and his cronies make disparaging remarks. Amy snaps at Mason, but their altercation is broken-up by a passing police officer. To Summer’s horror, Amy argues with the officer before picking up a can of paint and spraying it all over the officer’s car. Amy is cuffed and arrested for criminal damage.
