Coronation Street star Jane Danson was flooded with messages to pass on to her husband as she paid tribute to him on his birthday. The actress isn't always active on social media but made an exception to mark Robert Beck's special day.
More recently, Robert played Fergus Collins in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and had a dramatic short stint in Emmerdale at the end of last year as villain Damon 'Harry' Harris. Alongside the post, she wrote: "Happy birthday my @robertbeck529. 56 years young ! Love you forever." And her Corrie co-stars were among those sending birthday wishes.
When Rob's Emmerdale return - as a new character after he first appeared in the long-running show back in 1999 - was announced, Jane said she 'owes' the soap a lot as she recalled meeting Robert for the first time in 1999 at the British Soap Awards.
