An inquest has been opened at Nottingham Council House
An inquest opened into the death of a man who passed away after a crash in Nottingham. Vasile Predoiu died aged 66 after a crash at a junction in Bobbers Mill, Nottingham, on March 17.
In a previous statement, Nottinghamshire Police said the road was closed in both directions while emergency services attended the scene on Alfreton Road. The car involved in the collision initially left the scene following the incident which happened at around 10.35pm but returned a short time later.Opening the inquest at Nottingham Council House on April 12, assistant coroner Hannah Mettam said a post-mortem examination has been carried out.
