Cancellations of SATs, summer programs and campus visits have caused shock and anxiety among college-bound juniors. But it also has given them time to breathe.
Kate Connolly was worried when the March date of the SAT test was canceled. A junior at Natick High School in Massachusetts, she had studied hard for months and felt prepared. She had hoped to have scores to submit to college track coaches in July as part of the recruiting process.
