Tim tricks Tracy into admitting she slept with Tommy. Tim says he will tell Steve if she doesn't.
Well, we definitely didn’t expect this! Things appear to be looking up for Steve McDonald in Coronation Street following the breakdown of his marriage to Tracy Barlow . A few weeks ago in the ITV soap, Tim told best mate Steve that Tracy had been having an affair with footballer Tommy Orpington . Steve was understandably heartbroken but when he confronted his wife, he couldn’t believe it when Tracy said she was actually bored in the marriage and didn’t want to get back with him.
Returning home, Steve finds Ken trying on different jackets and reveals that he’s going to join him for the cocktail night. The evening ends badly for Steve, as Ken ends up getting friendly with a lady called Elspeth, played by Helen Lederer. Later in the week, a confident Steve decides to get back on the horse and makes his way to the pub for the speed dating evening.
