Concerned, Bobby reported Lauren's disappearance to the local police, and Roy now finds himself under suspicion due to his kind nature. This suspicion was further fuelled by residents when he was innocently spotted tidying up Lauren's flat. Soap viewers across social media have been offering their thoughts on the unfolding storyline, with some predicting Lauren's fate that might acquit Roy, reports the Mirror. One viewer shared: "Could Lauren make a shock appearance at the trial? #Corrie", another suggested: "I feel this will end when Lauren turns at the trial as an unannounced witness!"
It comes as DS Lisa Swain actress Vicky Myers teased the arrival of her character's daughter. DS Swain recently returned to the cobbles and has become a regular in Weatherfield as she investigates the disappearance of teenager Lauren.
