Ms Tan resigned in October 2023 to"pursue personal interests" - before the incident involving damaged cord blood units was made public in November that year. In addition, four directors who are currently not based in Singapore are required to attend a police interview on April 2. "The board will continue to consider and assess the suitability of all directors to continue serving on the board, pending the development of the investigations."
