Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Officials recently identified the victim as Jasmine Featherstone, 23, of Elizabeth, according to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office. Featherstone was previously from Middletown, Connecticut, officials said.
She was found on June 11, 2020, along tracks near the 300 block of Port Avenue, prosecutor William Daniel said in a statement Friday.
