Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward after a man died in hospital after being found lying in a Renfrewshire street.
Officers are treating the death as “unexplained” and enquiries are ongoing. Police said on Monday that anyone who has information or who was in the area at the time or has dashcam footage should contact them. One friend added: “Rest in peace my boy Andrew Lees.” Another posted: “He was an amazing friend to me at work and outside work."
