It is the first full day of spring and, oddly enough, it feels like winter in Indiana.
overall but, unfortunately, the 50s are coming with a windy price tag. That comes in the form of 40+ mph southwesterly gusts that's also brining an elevated fire risk this afternoon due to how dry the air is. It's a wise idea to hold off on any burning.
Temperatures are much warmer to our west. Usually that air can be expected here 24 hours later. But a cold front crossing through the state tonight displaces that warmer nose well to our south Wednesday and keeps central Indiana in the 40s versus the 60s south of the Ohio River.
