Construction Report: New traffic changes starting Friday, August 26 for Steese Highway construction project
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Multiple traffic changes have taken place on the Steese Highway since the start of the construction project.
Starting this weekend from Friday, August 26 at 9 p.m. until Monday, August 29 at 6 a.m. there will be another change to the traffic flow on the Steese Highway. The primary goal of this closure is to allow workers time to pave the intersection so when the highway reopens it will be ready for school buses to use.
