The St Mirren star has been a key man for the Buddies during their rise up the Scottish Premiership this term.
Conor McMenamin revealed his daughter missed his first international goal after going to pick pumpkins instead.
“I rang her after the game and was going mad at her! Her mum said she could go where she wanted and she rang me and said she’d rather go to the pumpkin patch. He added: “She's still at school back home. I travel back when I have a day off. The gaffer is good to me. Any chance I get, I'll take her to school or she'll come and stay with me.
He said: “He’s come over and it’s a big jump in standard from the Irish league. He’s coped really well and hopefully that goal for Northern Ireland will kick him on in terms of his end product for us. A lot of his play has been very, very good and he’s a good finisher so we’re looking for more goals from him for us as well.
