Liverpool's young star Conor Bradley feels Northern Ireland have set a standard following their 1-1 draw with Romania in Bucharest on Friday night.
Michael O'Neill wants to build his young squad so they are good enough to go to big tournaments and this encouraging performances was certainly a step in the right direction."We wanted to set standards, to set out how we want to play," said Bradley. "These are friendlies but for the next campaign coming we want to get our identity out there and I think we've done that.
With an average age of 23.5 Northern Ireland's young stars stood up in a hostile atmosphere, playing without fear. "That's what Michael told us before the game," Bradley added. "He said we shouldn't fear anything.
