Connor has already played in the Walker Cup and the Junior Ryder Cup across the past couple of months
Connor Graham is looking to emulate the Eisenhower Trophy achievements of former Perthshire golfers Wallace Booth and Gavin Dear.
Connor has spent plenty of time with his team-mates this year and added: “I know Calum and Gregor well and we have a strong team. We’ll just be looking to go over there and perform well. It was an unforgettable experience for the Blairgowrie High student which had started with a remarkable recovery in the opening day foursomes.“It definitely felt like a win,” Connor laughed. “I don’t think I’d ever been six down before.
Connor would impress throughout and held his nerve nicely to win his final day singles played over the “phenomenal” Marco Simone course – the same venue as the actual Ryder Cup. “We bumped into a few of the European players and we got to have a wee walk around the players’ area.
