For those not looking to brave the traffic, VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer Park & Ride service to and from the Alamodome.

While the San Antonio Brahmas are not playing, San Antonians will likely still attend the game. According to the Alamodome, a crowd of 15,000 is expected for the event, with some congestion expected by the San Antonio Police Department.
"With limited parking adjacent to the Alamodome, we always recommend patrons arrive early and give themselves plenty of time to enjoy activities in and around the Dome prior to the event," Ricardo Guzman, a public information officer with SAPD, wrote in an email."Dome Lots open at 1:30 p.m. and tailgating will take place in lots B and C."
The teams will compete inside the Alamodome at 7 p.m., as the XFL brings the culmination of its inaugural season to San Antonio. The championship will likely cause a spike in traffic around the downtown stadium. However, SAPD said it expects the traffic plan to mitigate delays and get spectators to and from the event safely.
