Fleur East confirmed the news on Monday night's It Takes Two
Former Strictly star and host Fleur East broke the news on the Strictly spin-off show on Monday night . After introducing the programme, she said: "We've received the news that Amanda is not returning to Strictly."

Her absence was addressed at the beginning of Saturday night's show as presenter Claudia Winkleman said: “Now as you may have noticed, Amanda and Giovanni are missing from the lineup. Due to medical reasons Amanda is unable to perform this week.”
