The TV fundraising night was hosted by Lenny Henry, Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness, Rosie Ramsey, Romesh Ranganathan, Maya Jama and David Tennant
The BBC's Comic Relief fundraising event left some viewers with questions over the number of hosts on at the same time.
Viewers' attention shifted from the action on stage to the quantity of hosts; as the hosts themselves poked fun at this at the beginning of the evening. Lenny made the comment: "Eight hosts for the price of none.", reports Birmingham Live. While 'The Masked Singer' presenter Joel humorously added 'Even I made the cut'. Comedian Romesh even brought up his quiz show, stating 'And I'm going to try and not be the weakest link'. Paddy chimed in with: "And I live five minutes down the road so I thought I'd pop down."
