Live Oak Logistics Park is north of S.H. 121 in the Colony.One of the country’s’ largest industrial real estate companies is working on a project in the Colony. Link Logistics Real Estate is constructing the two-building business park off Main Street, north of State Highway 121.
The project, called Live Oak Logistics Park, will total more than 530,000 square feet, according to planning documents filed with the street, and it’s expected to cost more than $33 million. Dallas’ GSR Andrade Architects designed the industrial park, which is scheduled to open late this year. Link Logistics Real Estate is owned by New York-based investor Blackstone. The company bills itself as “the leading operator of the largest portfolio of logistics real estate located exclusively in the U.S.”In the third quarter of last year, Link Logistics had 30 million square feet of industrial space under development that was valued at $5.6 billion.The Dallas-Fort Worth area is the country’s top industrial building market with more than 50 million square feet of development in the works.
