A sailboat carrying a Pa. native, her husband and a friend has been missing for two weeks after leaving Mazatlan, Mexico, for San Diego.
The vessel was supposed to stop in Cabo San Lucas on April 6 for provisions, but the Coast Guard said the sailboat never arrived and the crew has not provided an updated location.
In its statement, the Coast Guard said that search and rescue coordinators have been in contact with marinas in the Baja, Mexico, area and there have been no sightings of the boat. Radio alerts have also been made asking “all mariners” to keep a lookout for the Ocean Bound, said the Coast Guard.
