Co-op Live has issued a warning to fans trying to get tickets for Paul McCartney’s huge tour following a huge demand for pre-sale access.
One fan wrote of their issues with getting tickets: “Was finally in a queue, got to the front for a blue circle to keep going around now at the back of a queue again of 14 thousand or so.” Another wrote: “Lots of seemingly available seats returning the exact same ‘unable to reserve’ message, several steps backwards from where Ticketmaster had got to previously.”
Posting on social media, Co-op Live wrote: “Ahead of Paul McCartney going on sale, we remind all fans to be vigilant in only using officially recognised ticket providers. We have been made aware of possible fraudulent tickets available on secondary platforms.” One other person posted: "Was in the waiting room ten mins before for pre-sale Paul McCartney tickets and never got beyond the in queue screen. Now I see people already trying to make a profit flogging tickets."
