A Co Down filmmaking family say they are "extremely proud" after their self-funded short film proved a hit at US film festivals.

Co Down Filmmaking Family's Self-Funded Short Film Hits US FestivalsCousins Declan Curran and Árón Holden are proud of their self-funded short film 'Dear Imelda' which has been successful at US film festivals. The film, directed by Árón and set in County Down, stars Declan and renowned Irish actor Rose Henderson. It follows the story of grandson Ciaran's arrival at his nanny Imelda's home and the friction that arises due to their different lifestyles.
