The Vikings are making their third NCAA tournament appearance in program history.
The Vikings were 15-10 in the Horizon League and won their first league title since 2009. Friday will also be their first NCAA tournament appearance this 2009, and their third in program history. They’ve never played Oklahoma. Four Vikings earned all-league honors this season. Melissa Holzopfel and Brooke Albaugh made the first team, with Holzopfel becoming the first player in league history to make the first team as both a pitcher and position player.
