Hundreds of vehicles from 36 brands are on display. The cars and trucks are new and shiny, but it feels like a return to the past inside the International Exposition Center.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Auto Show returned Friday after taking a year off because of the pandemic with staples its known for from Millionaire’s Row to rugged off-road courses, and a newer twist taking center stage - electrified vehicles.
The Ram Truck and Jeep Wrangler are joined by the Ford Bronco on the off-road tracks, where manufacturers showcase their vehicles’ capabilities. The automakers bring in stairs, large hills and even real dirt to drive through. He also on display are new versions of the Tundra pickup truck and Sequoia SUV with hybrid options. The Rav4 and Prius also have plug-in hybrid options.
Electrifying the engines makes them quieter, but Enright said the vehicles aren’t losing any of their off-roading capabilities or cutting performance. Product specialist Ken Paul said it’s one of 10 new vehicles Nissan has available this year. The brand plans to have 15 all-electric vehicles by 2030.
