The building is expected to house all functions currently at the Justice Center, as well as some functions currently located at Cleveland’s Public Safety Center, at 2001 Payne Avenue.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The city of Cleveland is proposing a maximum price of $90 million for the new Cleveland police headquarters, which will require the renovation of an historic building on Superior Avenue.
Mayor Justin Bibb on Monday introduced legislation to City Council that would allow the city to move forward with Bibb’s plans to renovate the ArtCraft building to house the headquarters, which are currently located in leased space at the county-owned Justice Center in downtown Cleveland.
