Parts of Invergowrie were submerged in floodwater at shoulder height with cars and homes ruined
In Invergowrie, residents on and around Station Road and Boniface Road were evacuated from their homes by boat due to the flooding mayhem.
Ken Clark witnessed the flooding first hand from his house on Boniface Place and said at its worst the floodwater reached near shoulder height. He said there was at least an inch and a half of mud left on pavements and roads after the water receded.“Thankfully most of the houses sit higher. The community will get together to clear the sludge.”
