England national under-21 football team beat Azerbaijan on Friday with four Manchester City players in the side
Manchester City's succession plan shows no sign of slowing down after a quartet of young Blues proved their capabilities on the international stage.
Phil Foden is the standard bearer with the England international currently in the form of his life and perhaps in line to take the central creative mantle from Kevin De Bruyne. The goalkeeper was in the England Under-21 team for Friday's victory against Azerbaijan and four of his former teammates took to the field. The City quartet all produced strong performances with Taylor Harwood-Bellis' header deflecting in off Jaden Philogene for England's third goal in a 5-1 win.
