Extra jobs have been created by the extension
An Aldi in Nottingham has reopened after closing for two months during a "significant" refurbishment and extension. The supermarket at Castle Retail Park, off Radford Boulevard, was closed from early August until Thursday, October 19 while the work took place.
The store has been enlarged to 1,327 square metres, with the new format being designed to help make shopping even easier for Radford customers, Aldi said. It added that 10 new jobs had been created through the extension, with new employees being sought. Store Manager Jas said: “The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available. Hopefully the new-look store will make shopping at Aldi Radford that bit easier and more comfortable.”During reopening week, the store will be offering a range of wooden toys, including a three-storey wooden doll’s house for £39.99, wooden toy kitchen for £34.
