Beeston's Arc Cinema has called on parents to stop abusing its staff for not allowing children under 15-years-old to watch the newly released Five Nights at Freddy's movie
A Nottinghamshire cinema has reminded parents that its 'staff are human too' after getting abuse for turning away kids who are too young to watch a new film. .
On Wednesday, October 25, a spokesperson said: "We’re getting inundated with phone calls, emails and DM’s from parents asking if their under 15 can come see Five Nights at Freddy's Movie and unfortunately the answer is no."Please don’t abuse our staff or give us any grief about it, we don’t classify the films.
A manager of the cinema further reiterated the message to parents on Thursday, October 26, asking them to respect workers. "I just wanted to highlight the below post due to the high volumes of abuse all of the staff have been receiving because of this issue. Unfortunately, Five Nights At Freddy's has been rated a 15 by the BBFC .
