Cincinnati is taking a cautious approach with Burrow this offseason.
"It's a constant process," Burrow said about his rest days and injury management. "That's what coming back from injury is there's going to be good days and bad days and we're going to take it day-by-day....That's tough to say . I'll be ready by the beginning of the season."
Cincinnati is ready to see their franchise player at his best. He has a some new teammates to work with, but the Bengals offensive core is still in place as he gets to 100%. "When you're coming back from injury you're learning to maneuver your body in new ways that you haven't done in awhile," Burrow said. "So there's going to be things that pop up, whether its the wrist or something else that you have to work through. Coming back from injury that happens every time. I've been through that. I know what that process is like. So I can handle it better now.
Burrow acknowledged that he's having to take it easier on his body than he did as a growing football player. The sands of time force us all to make changes eventually.
