And beyond the usual excitement that entails, it also means that this fall, her two oldest kids — Future, 8, and Sienna, 5 — are starting new schools.over Zoom about how she and her family are prepping for the best year ever — including the hacks that help her keep it all together on frantic mornings.
Tops on her list: Prepping the kids’ clothes the night before. “That’s like, been game-changing for me,” she says, adding that when you set yourself up for success the night before, morning just rolls better. “It’s when you’re starting everything from scratch, like even down to their lunches — that’s when it gets crazy… It’s like, ‘good luck.’”
Another thing that’s making it all easier? The fact that the kids are excited about their new schools. “You know, when you make them move, that’s so significant and big,” she says. “You don’t know how your babies are going to react to that. [But] they were over the moon and excited about the next event, the next chapter. I mean, they were hyped up.
