Christina Robinson, 30, has been found guilty of murdering her son A mum who was accused of the murder of her three-year-old son has been convicted. Christina Robinson, 30, was accused of causing a fatal injury to her son Dwelaniyah by violently shaking him at her house in Bracken Court, Ushaw Moor, Durham, in November 2022. Newcastle Crown Court heard how she scalded and caned him in ‘sadistic cruelty’.

She immersed him in scalding water which caused severe burns that would have caused excruciating pain in the weeks before his death.
