Christian Labour shadow minister criticises Kate Forbes for 'old fashioned' views
A Christian Labour shadow minister has criticised Kate Forbes for her "old fashioned" views on sexuality and the family.
He said that "the core bit of Christianity is how we should treat each other" and that conservative views on social issues are "detrimental to both faith and politics". Forbes said she would not roll back on laws which are in place but several leading SNP figures signed a letter expressing concern that LGBTQ+ rights could be rolled back.
