Alan Mannus brought the curtain down on his stellar career on Friday night
Chris Shields has hailed the stellar career of Alan Mannus ahead of the Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper's final game.
He said: "I did come up against big Alan plenty of times. We actually were on the same UEFA B course with the Irish FA, and will be doing the A course next summer."I had never really heard of him at Linfield and then he arrived at Shamrock Rovers, and I saw how good he was before he went to St Johnstone.
Mannus signed off for Shamrock Rovers on Friday night as Stephen Bradley's side lifted the League of Ireland Premier Division title for the fourth year on the bounce.
