What’s seen as the world’s largest annual human migration is under way again in China for the Lunar New Year, after the country lifted pandemic restrictions. WSJ’s Yoko Kubota reports on how it’s expected to boost the economy–and the risk of new Covid-19 outbreaks.

Data released this week point to a sharp rebound in the tourism sector during the weeklong Lunar New Year holiday that started Saturday. Still, some economists cautioned that fully repairing consumer confidence—if that’s possible—will take a while longer.
